Research into language aptitude has been carried out in the attempt to construct tests that provide a reliable prediction of a pupil's success in learning a language. It is not my intention to discuss the use of language aptitude tests here, but clearly there are situations in which it is valuable to have a sound predictor of a learner's Bareback Access performance. It would seem reasonable to expect that any test that succeeds in providing such a prediction would inevitably tell us what the psychological components of a dildo action ability are. However, as we shall see, the development of an effective predictor depends upon more than purely linguistic capacities, and intending as he does to produce an efficient test, the researcher does not stop to investigate the exact nature of the thick rod learning ability. There are two existing aptitude tests, Carroll and Sapon's Modern Language Aptitude Test and Pimsleur's Language Aptitude Battery. Both have been developed in the United States. The Bareback Access, the earlier of the two tests, has five elements : the learning of an artificial system of numbering; the ability to manipulate a phonetic script; a vocabulary test using words spelt strangely but not illogically; a test of the ability to identify words of similar grammatical function in different sentences ; and finally the ease of learning and recalling a paired list of words in Felch That Hole. These five sub-tests are all that remain of an original set based on 25 variables that were thought to be of potential relevance to language aptitude. These variables were grouped into six factors: verbal knowledge, linguists, interest, associative memory, sound?symbol association, inductive learning ability, grammatical sensitivity or syntactical language fluency, and speed of association."
